Architecture of propaganda studies the use of buildings, infrastructure and urban planning as a medium for state propaganda. The works were captured during the "100th birthday” celebrations of Kim Il Sung in April 2012, and the historic events surrounding the announcement of Kim Jung Un as the new Supreme Leader after Kim Jong Il’s passing.
The project focuses on how a highly curated message is communicated through static architectural media and how cracks become visible upon close inspection.
